Stafford Rainwater serve another ace at Ilkley Tennis Club!

The 2016 Aegon Ilkley Trophy saw the opening of a stunning new club house and fitness suite, which was part of a £2.5 million investment in the club’s facilities. At Stafford Rainwater we are passionate about tennis, health and fitness. When the opportunity was presented to us to help develop the new landmark clubhouse in the North of England, it was an prospect not to be missed. The design of the system was imperative to the aesthetics and functionality of the project. Stafford Rainwater completed a site measure and constructed a bespoke template for the curve of the roof. The tapered aluminium was designed, manufactured and delivered to site within 5 weeks ready for the Aegon Ilkley Trophy. The new clubhouse was received wonderfully and the event was a complete success hosting some of the UK’s best tennis players.

Manchester Christie Hospital aids development of cutting-edge radiotherapy technology

Cancer patients in the North West are set to benefit from a revolutionary new treatment that will aim to shorten treatment times, reduce side-effects and improve their chances of beating the disease. The Christie, part of the Manchester Cancer Research Centre, has been selected to house an MRI -guided radiation therapy system, of which there are currently just 2 research systems in the world. The state-of-the-art radiotherapy machine uses imaging technology to better and more safely target radiation beams to the site of a tumour.

Curved Ogee Gutter is music to the ears of Kirkbie Kendal School

Kirkbie Kendal School, located in the heart of Cumbria is home to over 1000 students a year. After initial planning to develop the school's specialist Creative and Perfoming Arts centre 18 months ago came into fruition, Stafford Rainwater were called to supply and install an aluminium true curved radius gutter to the new front of the building.

New Park and Ride opens in Hazel Grove! 

The brand new Park and Ride facility in Hazel Grove, Stockport is set to relieve congestion throughout the region and take 6000 cars off the road. The new project is the first of its kind with Stagecoach Manchester opening the privately funded £3 million facility which will host a fleet of 40 hybrid electric buses, all installed with free wifi. The grand opening of the Park and Ride saw a comedian Justin Moorhouse and Stagecoach Commercial Directors take to the site to unveil the brand new transport link to the public.
